About the role

We're looking for a Commis Chef to join the kitchen team at The Chaser Inn. You'll work alongside our senior chefs, learning every section of the kitchen and building the skills to take your career further.

Some kitchen experience is helpful but not essential. What matters most is enthusiasm and a genuine appetite to learn. Live-in accommodation is available.

Key responsibilities

•Assist senior chefs with food preparation and mise en place
•Prepare and cook dishes to a high standard under supervision
•Maintain cleanliness and organisation of your section and the wider kitchen
•Ensure proper stock rotation and storage of ingredients
•Follow all health, safety and food hygiene standards
•Support the team during busy service periods

What we're looking for

•A genuine passion for cooking and an eagerness to learn
•Some kitchen experience is desirable but not essential, full training provided
•Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
•Reliable, punctual and a strong team player
•Good understanding of food hygiene practices
